We are looking for vocal pedagogues who wish to enhance their competence in supporting young singers (approx. 16-21 years old) in classical singing. We hope to meet you if the following criteria align with your desires, interests, and qualifications:
- You have a vocal pedagogy education (or are in the process of completing a PPU) in addition to a performing education.
- You have teaching experience (short or long term) from upper secondary school, cultural school, folk high school, or as a private practicing vocal pedagogue.
- You are motivated to further enhance your competence in developing young voices and providing holistic support to young singers who wish to pursue higher education in classical singing.
- You are particularly motivated to dedicate part of or your entire professional career to vocal pedagogy.
- You are motivated to discuss methods and approaches with colleagues.
- Although we do not set an upper age limit, vocal pedagogues who are relatively early in their professional practice and meet the above criteria may be prioritized.
The course will take place at Voksenåsen during the vocal course at the Summer Academy.
Course dates: August 3-6.
