We are back from our Summer Holiday and have filled the house with vocalists, harpists, and pianists. Talented young musicians will receive individual masterclasses with world-renowned teachers during the next week.
This year, we have reintroduced our Harp course, with Isabelle Perrin and Erik Groenestein-Hendriks. In addition, the harp students will receive individual guidance in Alexander technique by Stephen Parker.
We have also reintroduced our Piano course for pianists with the renowned Christopher Park.
We are also happy to introduce a new vocal course “New Music”, a rigorous immersion into contemporary opera and musical theatre. The participants will be assigned arias and songs written by Pulitzer Prize-winning librettist Royce Vavrek and composer Rachel J. Peters. The course will end with a concert at the Oslo Chamber Music Festival.
