price & Scholarships

COURSE FEE 2023

The main part of the costs of the 2023 course is covered by The Norwegian Academy of Music, Dextra, The Royal Danish Academy of Music, Voksenåsen and Svensk-norska samarbetsfonden. Your fee covers some of your own accomocation, including meals.

The course fee is 5450 NOK (Junior Voice: 4050 NOK) and includes:

• All meals
• Accommodation at Voksenåsen hotel
• Access to all masterclasses and class lessons
• 4-5 masterclasses with the teacher on your instrument

SCHOLARSHIPS

Students may be applicable for scholarships from their universities. Ask your university for guidance.

The Norwegian Academy of Music has a scholarship that their students can be granted. Students from The Norwegian Academy of Music apply for scholarship automatically when applying for the Summer Academy. The scholarship amount (if granted) will be subtracted from the invoice for the course fee.

Questions regarding scholarship from The Norwegian Academy of Music may be directed to the Summer Academy or The Norwegian Academy of Music.

Students at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm may apply for a travel stipend. See more information at their website.

Students at Barratt-Due may apply for scholarship from Venneforeningen.

Voksenåsen does not have any scholarships and will not be able to answer questions regarding other scholarships than from The Norwegian Academy of Music.

The repertoire is self-selected. Choose what represents you and your musical level the best.

What happens after i apply?

After you have submitted your application you will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail.
After the application deadline 16 April the teachers will evaluate all of the applications.
In early May you will receive information about whether you have been accepted, are on the waiting list or have not been accepted to the Summer Academy.
