Julia Constance Wiger-Nordås
Julia Constance Wiger-Nordås (b. 2001) is an experimental composer of handwritten music, emphasizing intuition and radicality. She often combines different art forms and explores distinctive concert formats (long silences, sauna concerts). Her music has opened sacred art exhibitions, toured with the Sonora Ensemble, and been performed at the Lucerne Festival. Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in composition from the Grieg Academy and the Zurich University of the Arts, and is currently freelancing in Bergen.
Milosz Krawczyk
Milosz Krawczyk (b. 2004) is a Swedish-Polish composer, currently studying composition at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm (KMH) under Djuro Živković. His musical voice draws on sacred traditions, folk influences, and Eastern European modernism. He previously studied composition, piano, and conducting at Lilla Akademien.
At 17, he debuted with his first orchestral work at KMH, followed by a commissioned overture for the Nyköping Philharmonic Society that received notable media attention. His chamber, orchestral, and choral music has been performed in Sweden and the Baltics by ensembles such as the Stockholm Saxophone Quartet and soloists including Iris Oja and Kadri-Ann Sumera.
Krawczyk has received scholarships from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, O/Modernt, and other foundations. He is also active as an arranger, pianist, and conductor, with performances at venues including the Stockholm Concert Hall.
Yuto Obata
Yuto Obata is a Japanese composer based in Helsinki, Finland.
Obata’s music features delicate acoustics, aiming to expand the sonic possibilities of acoustic instruments and create a unique sonority. International ensembles such as Norrbotten NEO and the Avanti! Chamber Orchestra have performed his works.
Obata completed his bachelor’s degree at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo in 2020 and his master’s degree at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki in 2024. He studied composition under Ryo Dainobu and Veli-Matti Puumala.
