Malin Broman –
Malin Broman is much in demand as an artistic director, soloist and chamber musician. Born in Sweden, Malin completed her studies in London with David Takeno. A passionate chamber musician she has toured and recorded extensively for the last twenty years as a member of the Kungsbacka Piano Trio, Stockholm Syndrome Ensemble and Nash Ensemble of London.
Combining her unique talents as both a soloist and chamber musician, Malin was appointed leader of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2008. As guest leader, she has since been invited to perform with the Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Europe. In 2019 she was awarded H.M the King’s medal for her services to music. We are so happy to welcome Malin back to the Summer Academy!
