Here are this years Horn teachers at MusiPæd 2024. An intensive course for brass players with masterclasses, discussions, and seminars. A collaboration between Voksenåsen Music Academies and The Royal Danish Academy of Music.

ESA TAPANI
Esa Tapani (1968) began playing the horn at the Lappeenranta music school in 1979. He then studied at the Helsinki Conservatory and the Sibelius-Academy passing his examination with highest marks.
In the years 1990-92 Tapani played in the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and 1992-95 in the Symphony Orchestra of the Swedish Radio. From 1995-2007 he was engaged in the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Tapani has also played since 1986 in Avanti! Chamber Orchestra specializing in modern music. From 2007 Esa Tapani is professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main.

JAKOB KEIDING
Jakob Keiding is a prominent Danish hornist who has a successful career as chamber, orchestral and solo musician as well as educator.
Since 1993, he has been solo hornist at Copenhagen Phil, this was preceded by orchestral appointments at the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and the Austrian Radio Symphony Orchestra. As solo hornist, he has also performed concerts and tours with orchestras in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
From 2003-2009, he taught horn at The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, and since 2013, he has taught horn at The Royal Danish Academy of Music.
