JENS BJØRN-LARSEN

Jens Bjørn-Larsen is one of the most sought-after tuba soloists in the world in addition to being a successful brass pedagogue. His achievement of the first prize at the Concours International d’Execution Musicale in Geneve in 1991 marked the beginning of his extraordinary career as a tuba soloist.

From 1987-2005, he was solo tubist at the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, and since 2010, he has been an associate member of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.Jens Bjørn-Larsen teaches tuba at The Royal Danish Academy of Music and at the Malmö Academy of Music.
