Many congratulations to Alma Kraggerud, one of our strings soloist talents for 2024-2025, who has been awarded the 2024 scholarship of 300,000 kr from the Eilif og datter Besse Gunstrøms minnelegat. It recognises promising violinists under the age of 30.
They write: “Alma distinguishes herself as an exceptionally talented young artist, with a unique combination of instrumental technical skills, musical maturity and artistic originality. Despite her young age, Alma has already made a name for herself on both the national and international stage.
Alma is able to convey music with heartfelt depth and emotional empathy, and she rises to new artistic levels with each passing year. The committee strongly believes that Alma has a bright future ahead of her, and we look forward to following her further development.”
