The 2023 MusiPæd Winter Course for brass instruments will be held on 23-27 January 2023 at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen, Denmark.

- Presentations, lectures and discussions on principles related to brass teaching and pedagogy
As a participant, you will be given opportunities to work with leading performers and educators from Denmark and Norway. While your holistic development in musical excellence defines the core course activities, focus will also be placed on exploring and shedding light upon unique Nordic approaches to instrumental pedagogy.
How do we learn, and how do others learn from us?
In addition to individual and group lessons, you will also have the opportunity to gain knowledge or work with concrete tools based on Nordic instrumental pedagogy, as well as build your own network of early-career musicians in the Nordic region.
who is the course for
The course is for those who recently graduated, are starting their education the coming year, or who are already studying at university level.
Alumni of music conservatories in the Nordic region can attend the course at a reduced fee, while existing students can apply for a NordPlus Express Mobility Grant.
Participants will earn 3 ECTS for the course.
PRice
Ordinary participants: 1500 DKK
Participants from Nordic music conservatories: 1000 DKK
The fee covers meals and refreshments. Lessons and activities are supported by our sponsors.
Participants are responsible for arranging and covering accommodation, transport etc. themselves.

In the application the student can attach a recording of themselves. This is optional, not compulsory.
Maximum 15 minutes, self-selected repertoire
